Windows 10: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14367 for PC and Mobile

Ok, mobile is so fast to update (Lumia 950) but for desktop it is not. It take an hour at least every time.

 

New releases coming out thick and fast....woweeeee......

 

Just installed the new build. Mobile. Lumia 640
A question: Just after install the start screen froze regularly on a downswipe to see the app tiles below. It also seemed to - on it's own - restart (just the screen) - i.e. the screen goes blank and after a couple of seconds it pops up again and is then NOT immediately available for downswipe to see the apps tiles below.
I was wondering if that is perhaps a sort of install carry over that will go away.
If not, it's going to be irritating...

 

From my experience till now. Keep internet connected for at least an hour or so and let it sync with whatever you have it set to, it takes a while to regurgitate everything. Some APPs may need to be updated at same time too. I can see my WiFi router I connect to internet with, active for a while.
Most APPs also need to be started first time and it takes longer than second time.

And - do I see what I wish to see or are the tiles sharper and more pronounced square with a bigger black margin round them?
It does look like a a quite nice combination of complex and straight forward - because of the pronounced flat surface of the tile array?
(It may even just be that my tile arrangement is superior!! He,he...)

 

I use see thru tiles and nice neutral background.

 

Just getting it.. nice surprise for the day.

 

All done.. cleaning up the C Drive.. and then I'll create an ISO from the update ESD file.

One thing I noticed is with the last two builds my context menu entries are removed with the update and I have to re-install them again. I hope the bug in windows.storage.dll is fixed with this build.

EDIT: Well, good news.. the bug has been fixed!!!

 

wow this was unexpected so soon after the 366 build. But I guess theyre coming hard and fast now in the run up to July.

 

+1, I bet we get builds every week up till the 29th. They should have mostly bug fixes but it's good to see what's going on.

 

It sure will/can be. I'm just happy that they addressed the issue concerning the context menu. I did have to re-install my entries but that's a process I automated via a AutoIt program.

And I like the new feature to bring up the feedback .. Windows[button] + F.. works just fine.

 

Unless you are beta-testing Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware in which case it quarantines the PilotshubApp.exe as a false positive, can't restore it and you then can't leave Windows feedback at all *Smile

What did *Start + F do before? Nothing? I can't remember.

 

Geez, I just finished the last build yesterday!

I will have to wait until tomorrow, as of 11.30pm tonight, nothing. *Sad AH well, soon.

Nothing indeed.

The removal of personalized context menus has been going on for quite a few builds already as far as I can remember.
I use Ultimate Windows Tweaker to fix it back to where it was before.
