    Yup, we were told there'd be no Build Number; however, we'll still get updates until the Anny Build is released to the General Public.

    All done with Desktop now. Lappy is at 29% downloaded. First time in awhile that I've chosen to update Lappy right behind Desktop. Last update for Lappy was Build 14379 so I could create an ISO from ESD in order to clean install on Desktop.

    Anyway, off to explore and read what's new; only read the first paragraph of update announcement.

    I had a bit of a problem getting it to close right after installation, but once I got it to close, it seems to be working.

    I don't recall that, which doesn't mean a thing, Magilla. May I ask where you saw that?

    I do seem to recall someone saying they had a July 15 expiry, but I believe it was for a much earlier Build.

    Hi,

    If there is an expiration date then I just can't find it anywhere.
    I just ran slmgr /dlv and there's nothing there to suggest any expiration date for this build.

    Let's call it the pre-anniversary build. Yay. *Party

    Under first post they said there might be an expiration date in form of POPUP. I didn't see the POPUP part. It was under KNOWN ISSUES.

    Impressive. Only one single DCOM error in event viewer which I fixed.
    ISO created. May do a clean install one of these days.
    Time to make an image of this beauty. *Biggrin
