Windows 10: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14931 for PC

Network Discovery seems still to be an issue with 14931 like the last two releases 14915 and 926. *Sad

Got it and done... ISO created.

- had literally just finished installing the new 16.9.2 AMD driver, when I spotted the Win10 update
- including a 5-minute "rinse", the whole thing took an hour..

- and the new GFX driver came over with it..
- superb!! *Cool

 

One problem after another on this new laptop. It keeps asking me ??? to fix. Asking for info lmao. But it's still updating it.





MS fix this ok.

 

Yeah....apparently the build disappeared.......donno what's going on!!

Known issues for PC

 

no update for me here in southern California on either laptop or desktop.

 

Just got the update here in Alberta but when the Feedback App updated it was not the newest version. Currently version 1.62221.0 is installed and will probably have to wait a day or so for the new version 1.1608.2441.0 to try out the dark skin.

EDIT: It figures just after typing my original post above and checking for Store updates once again the Feedback app is now updated to the newest version along with a few other apps and the dark skin is a lot better.

 

I got caught napping, literary, Check as usually at 7.15 PM and there was no upgrade but in the morning at about 7 AM it downloaded.
Just made ISO and noticed something new (maybe):

 

@CountMike maybe in the future we can Backup and Restore our Windows installation with all installed applications to Onedrive, that way M$ can sell more subscriptions for Onedrive storage.

 

Or subscriptions to Office 365(1TB storage)*Wink
