Windows 10: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14936 for PC and Mobile

Chrome and Maxthon were just examples I used, on both my Windows 10 laptops the behaviour is the same, mixer forgetting individual app settings regardless of the app.

Strange. I do not have this on desktop machines.

 

Going well so far on Multiple Computers.

 

I would be interested in hearing about your experience with the Lumia 640. I have 2 of them but have not tried the Insider Builds on them.

Upgraded my desktop and phone. Both went without a problem. I was a little nervous about upgrading my phone after what happened the last time I upgraded it on the fast ring. I decided what the Hey and switched back to the Fast Ring and went for it. I was very happy after the restart and saw my phone was working OK. *Smile

 

Yup.. they're there just about all of the time.

And,,, working just fine.

 

I installed this build on my Lumia 640XL and so far it's running great. *Smile

 

Finally a version that installed, the last 4 failed with the same error.
I knew it wasn't my system that was at fault.
Edge still keeps stopping though , so still more work needed there Microsoft

 

I found its usability is tangibly better than several of its forerunners. Lets hope we don't get a flurry of releases this time, and that none of them are ever total lemons ever again.

 

Have it for a year now, bought it with 8.1 and upgraded immediately. All were insider builds except 14931 because of possible snafu with Sim card which few encountered. Just sorry I didn't get 640XL because of size but couldn't get dual Sim XL around here and I need it because one sim is for internet only and phone sim is prepaid service.
For years I had problems with synchronizing with PC on Androids, windows phone fit the bill perfectly. No more lost contacts, APPs, pictures etc. everything is now backed up and synced with P and thru One drive.

 

I have been using Insider preview (fast) since the beginning on my 636, 640, and 830 and the first and only problem I had was with the last version (14926). The 'One Calendar' app just kept shutting down as soon as it opened. Did all the usual things like uninstall, reset, etc.
Even contacted the developers of the app but they couldn't shed any light on the problem. Was hoping that the latest (14936) might fix, but no luck. BTW it has always worked faultlessly and still is on my wife's 650

Thanks for the input. BTW have you tried Chronos Calendar +? I found that to meet my needs with the many appointments we have between wife and I.

It sure sold me on it. Bought L535ds for my brother too.
