Windows 10: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15014 for PC and Mobile

I've made an ISO and USB of 15014

 

Fast boot was on, turned it off again just to be sure.

Also, just checked with Snappy Driver Installer, and the drivers I installed earlier this week all held - it shows no new drivers needing install.

But my machine has not been rebooted since updating. so I will cehck once again, since I have a message in action center telling me to 'finishing installing device drivers'....

 

Just finished making one as well. Going to test with a blank VM in a few moments.

 

On builds 15002 and 15007 I had to reinstall some of my apps and programs to get them working.

 

It's 1:45 here, I'm just restarting from scratch because it was apparently too much to have upgrade downloading or running on a low end i5 laptop and 4 Hyper-V virtual machines at the same time when browsing forums and streaming live TV:




Rest of the night it will be just two VMs at the same time. Thank heavenly geeks for insomnia and whisky *Smile

 

So maybe I need to reinstall sticky notes. Maps program also not working. Reported via hub.

 

Making my ISO then I'm going to reboot and see what happens. *Smile

 

OK geeks, how many of you are willing to admit that you are just like me (though mostly younger...) when these new builds are released: it's like being a kid again, full of enthusiasm and no patience, constantly checking WU progress bar and current download speed and whatnot, only waiting to get to install and start playing *Smile

I also have made an Iso, and can't wait for Windows Setup and the sluggish WinPE, so I am applying the Install.wim image index 1 with Imagex to an new volume I just made, and have written the boot files with BCDBoot, so a quick reboot into the OOBE, not forgetting to disconnect the network so I can set up a local account, and off I go...

 

Updated, Installed checked drivers checked to see if cold boot issue was still there.. it is.. turned off fast boot gets rid of it now to check to see if any thin else is snafu'd and go from there. *Smile
