Just tried mine with the wireless and it crashed big time.

 

Yeah, I went ahead and rolled back to 15007. I game every night using my XB1 controller, so that's definitely a deal breaker, at least on my main PC. I may give the new build a shot on my tablet.

As soon as I powered on the controller, though, it killed DWM, installed the drivers, and killed it again.

 

I discovered the option to upload fixes to PC's on your local network and internet defaults to on. I was surprised to see that working. I left it on to help others get the download. I'm not sure how long the updates keep uploading however. I think it quits after the update but I'm not sure.

 

Still nothing works. I can't even log out of facebook/ Working now. I get no sound through my headset. I haven't tryed to see if I have to boot several times just to log into my password/ Seems to be working now.

Still no sound in my headset/youtube not working.

 

I'm back, and I am amazed after an absolutely flawless WU flight install *upgrade* from 15007 that proceeded from start to finish without a hiccup or blemish--rocking and a' rollin' now on 15014...! Compared to the last two, this build has been Nirvana--at least in terms of the install upgrade process. So far, so good. Will return later with questions I'm certain...! So glad this has not been the marathon I thought it might be!

 

Edwin, why not change your AU version to Insider? Use Kari's instructions to make an ISO, then roll back to AU. Use the ISO to install on your Insider drive/partition.

 

Could be that the Sticky Note issue carried over from 15007, Magilla. The carryover happens to me occasionally.

 

Same here, Winuser. Watching my hard drive indicator shows long stretches of no activity. Looking at Task Manager shows 0 disk activity too. *Sad

 

Well very easy install for a change for me. By listening to others here(Wynona, Kari, etc I thank you so much for the help!) I was able to save my build to esd and create*my iso. TY *Smile

I am noticing one issue is all and am wondering if any others seeing this? According to fixed issues on first page it states this:

We fixed a deadlock from recent Insider builds that could result in the Action Center appearing blank.

I had never seen this on the other builds as an issue but this build if I get a notification from text or any notifications like things installed the whole action center goes transparent and can see nothing. I sign out and*back and as soon as a notice comes up on my PC same issue.

Any one with an idea or a setting I am missing to fix this I would be grateful. I will watch feedback hub also.

Since you have already tried it in 15014 and it does the same thing (I crap out at the identical percentage you do, too, 95.4%, and with the same same "can't find source" error--even when the command is aimed at the .iso--mounted or otherwise) so there's no sense for me to try it, myself, with 15014...*Wink

sfc /scannow--worked for me perfectly in 15007...so I'm guessing it'll work in 014, too. Odd....seen it before, though, sort of...similar, at least in a much earlier build...but onward...*Wink
Here's my latest brain teaser, even with 15014, atm...Got a dead tile I cannot remove from the start menu! The abomination has been with me since 15002--can't shake it--two upgrade build installs since has not removed it. I've reset the start menu with the TileDataLayer from my Administrator account, and nothing removed from User\appdata\local\Microsoft\Windows\ application shortcuts phases it. A search of c:\ for P~Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub_8wekyb3d8bbwe!Microsoft turns up absolutely nothing--but that is the name of the dead tile that will not vanish so that I can shrink my start menu width from three columns to 1 column.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...*Wink.....owwwww!--'scuse me, while I pull out some more scalp hair! Grrrr-r-r-r! ANyone?

 

I'm still sitting at 0% after more than an hour. Sigh . . .

 

Mine never moved off 0%. I finally saw I had a notification. It said a restart had been scheduled, but offered no way of doing it immediately. When I rebooted and opened WU, the restart button was available. Installation was smooth.
