It won't be my first. at this stage, UUP sucks egg in the wind!

 

Anyway.. this build is working just fine.

 

It sure does and that's why I turned it off, Now things work just fine.

 

I tried my best to give UUP a chance. I think this is going to be my last try until they get it working. I wonder if they did anything to Edge so it doesn't insert asterisks.

 

Yup. I'm sitting at Downloading 0% right now. I really don't have time to sit at the computer anyway, so I'll leave it be for now.

I'm not sure at which stage to turn off UUP, since the process has already started. *Sad

 

I'm wondering if a restart would help. I'll give it some more time and see what happens.

It's not reached me yet so it will have to wait until tomorrow.

 

Just a thought.. you could delete the C:\$Windows.~BT folder and then disable the UUP, restart and it might get things going. I did that a few builds ago and it worked to speed things up a bit.

One hour of initialising, have just tried a restart, initialising is continuing

 

I know something is going on. The Delivery Optimization is running around 30%.

 

Important enough to remind ESD fans once again:

After the upgrade do not forget to disable UUP again. It will be re-enabled by default after an upgrade, and will be default upgrade method after a clean install.

Checking ring level is also a good idea, it is sometimes reset to Slow. At least that has happened to me often enough that I nowadays always check it after an upgrade.
