    All my screwing around here I deleted the post right after you quoted it - I have .iso made but stuck at 77% - seems I do many things, I screw them up, and I move on. *Wink

    OH silly me did the UUP to ISO option
    Forgot it defaults to slow ring*Redface
    now ill have to wait for that to kick in

    What? UUP to ISO tool does in no way affect or change your Insider ring settings.

    No you can't. You have to wait until upgrade is completely downloaded and initialized, telltale being the Restart now button. When it's shown, first then can you make the ISO.

    Trying it before that will always fail.

    But as U to I is a clean install MS have possibly changed the default.
