Windows 10: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Slow Build 16278 for PC

Yup, Count! From what I can tell, MS is concentrating on fixing bugs for the Fall Update. Once that's released, we should go to the next level, which should be new features, etc. At that point, I think Skip Ahead will be abandoned, so I'm not seeing the use of it.

I abandoned Skip Ahead and will stay with the regular Fast Ring for now. *Smile

Now, watch! We'll get a huge new Skip Ahead Build . . .

 

I think the first "prerelease" build of RS4 is coming...

 

I know you weren’t addressing us per se, but rather venting your frustrations about MS to us. I’m sure you know about the Hub. Also see you’re no new member, but hello anyway.

Looks to me like you have some issues. Please remember that these are prereleases, so there will be bugs. That’s including 3rd party apps. Perhaps you may want to uninstall/reinstall those to see if that works.

 

What that looks like to me, Leo, is a Skip Ahead Build. I think the .1000 tells the tale. *Sad

Current non-skippy is a .1000 release Wynona

 

I checked the fact that Edge, like several of my ex-wives, just ain't worth the effort. Every new build I look at it, swear at it, then get rid of it. I am going to an EA meeting tonight (Edge Anonymous). Found a local one using Google search.

 

Microsoft had some "problems" with the jump to build 17000 so they had to be "returned" to build 16350, so any build with the number 16350+ belongs to the next development branch.

Yes, I feel the same about Edge, but with every new Build, I need to test it, just because I'm testing Windows 10 and it's a part of it. *Sad

Morning, in the USA, In post #47 I made mention that I couldn't see my network, i.e. NAS servers, other pc's on the network etc. Well this morning it's all working *Confused I rebooted several times yesterday but no joy and now this morning its all there. All I did was check the usual, network discovery, SMB etc but made no adjustments because everything looked correct. Again this morning both test machines show the network pc's. Just wanted to share this with the group. I also rebooted my 10563's last night as well as did the router. There is nothing showing in event viewer in regards to this nor reliability monitor either. I posted this to the Hub even though there were many postings about network problems but none were showing this Build. Have a great day and will post back if all goes awry again.
