Can you explain the issue? I'm not seeing it (and I do need my coffee, so that might be a factor)

No, I have 17 digital licenses associated with my Micro$oft account - 2 physical machines and 15 VMs.

Ooooh, yummy glad you got that figured out - but sucky that it is happening in the first place.

Sometimes it is best to start anew. Although, I've also recently learned that things go more smoothly for me if I clean install the latest release and then use WU to get back on latest IP builds. But, for a lot of users out there like you, sometimes clean installing directly is your only option.

I leave MB 3 to do its thing as the 'default' AV, the only thing I do is set exclusions in each for the other. Haven't had a problem thus far.

Ouch. Yeah, I posted that a page back or so - was very surprised that that was a factor - thankfully, mine is on and the update still took.

Nope. I saw that last night (and even tried to use it) on a machine that is running FCU - been there a while, but you only get those options on the apps that come preinstalled with WinX.

 

One VMware VM (nested in an virtual ESXi Server) is completed
Another VMware VM is at 53% working on update after I successfully created an ISO
One Virtualbox VM is being created using that ISO. The original VB VM can be updated when I boot Windows 17063 from the SSD.
Quite successfully so far.

 

Are you getting video driver problems with your VB installs too Marty?

Crashing of Atlantica, an online game.
Provided a feedback with a short video showing the crash right after 17063 came out and was so hopeful that it would be fixed by now but no luck

 

My Defender icon appears, however, it had the *Warning on it. It was the same temp files location problem some of us had last build. This time I ran wsreset command first, then the troubleshooter. All's fine now.

Same result as the previous build- freezes on boot and requires hard restart twice to rollback to previous version. Took a clean install last time and guess I'll try that again if I want to upgrade.

 

I showed this "problem" before in a graphical representation of my upload speed when I tested EDGE & FF. If you notice that FF gets right after it from the beginning (top speed) and maintains it, while EDGE slowly ramps up to the final speed. FF on top, Edge on bottom. With all the improvements to EDGE this build, just checking to see if the same oddity exists. Just an observation.*Confused

 

Can anyone tested to see if the clipboard copies information from a web page and then refuses to copy anything else?

I've had it happen twice, once last night and once again today...

I think my machine may be awaiting a reboot, so I will try that - but this is a head scratcher for me - posting multiple links in a thread here, copying them one at a time (from different web sites) and I kept getting the same link. OK, so I copied the first one and pasted into Notepad - then copied the second one - and it pasted the first one again into Notepad....

I finally got it done, but it was exasperating, to say the least....
