I've had my current computer for probably a year now, brand new gaming pc at the time of purchase with W10 installed. It's hyperefficient, and haven't had many issues other than Bluetooth croaking early on, which I've been told is a common issue you just can't fix without completely re-installing Windows as attempting to update / reinstall the drivers just doesn't work, which sucks considering how long that bug has gone unfixed. Anyway, other than that one thing, I haven't had any other issues with my computer / Windows 10 until the other day, when for some reason I couldn't drag/drop tabs anymore in my browsers. -It's not a Chrome issue, as it persists through multiple browser and program types. For example, the problem also carried over to Blender 3d animation software which is completely independent. Normally you simply left click to select an object in the scene; nothing crazy. However now I straight up can't select anything with left click in the program. I of course tried many things to fix this, searching for answers online, unplugging/replugging in mouse, updating mouse drivers were already up to date, nothing.

Restarting computer, actually worked.. until I shut down the computer again and turned it on the next morning, and it was back to not working. At the moment, if I want to be able to work in Blender, or move my browser tabs around like normal, I literally need to restart my computer when it doesn't work from turning it on normally, which is understandably annoying and not a normal thing to have to do. I originally wondered if it was the fault of another program, but the fact that it extends to multiple programs and is temporarily "fixed" when I restart suggests to be that it's a windows 10 issue. -This bug doesn't persist through all programs seemingly, browsers and Blender are the only ones I'm aware of.

-Also, not sure if this is of note, but starting up the computer also has gotten slower on startup from shut down, which wasn't an issue only like a week or two ago, it tended to boot pretty past. Also curious why shut down / start up doesn't completely start the system from boot like restarting the system does, like, "shut down" should mean shut down.

    :)

    Bugs that are annoying

I just upgraded to the fall creators update a couple days ago and i'm not happy.

Here is a list of bugs that i have that i tried to fix but can't

    • Makes screens too dark(I found a fix using the color manager but it will only apply to one monitor)
    • Toolbar gets stuck open in full screen apps
    • Explorer in task manger no longer has a restart function so i can't fix the stuck toolbar
    • I can't highlight items in the file explorer
    • All apps i open now opens the administrator prompt(never done this before)
    • Can't pin programs to the start menu
    • Had 6 instances of cortana running(huge CPU load)

I hope that someone can tell me some fixes for these bugs or that this list gets to the developer team and gets fixed soon

  3. Taskbar bug: switching to another window -will not appear at the front

Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

    Method 1:
I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

    1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
    2. Select or click Ease of Access.
    3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
    4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
    5. Check if issue is resolved.
    Method 2:
I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

    1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
    2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
    3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
    4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
    5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.

    LOST W10 START LIVE TILES

Have searched All apps many times. It now contains none of the apps that form part of the preinstalled W10 apps - which were there until very recently.

For instance in the apps list there are various anti-virus & malware programs, Chrome, Amazon & Acrobat Reader, Dell apps - all marked as New.

Did install TED app today to see if it would install as a live tile as well as in the list - which it did.

Have just been searching for hidden apps by going to Start/Control Panel. Next step was to click on Appearance and Personalization - but that option is not available in my Control Panel!

It looks as though this is a difficult problem to crack, but thank you very much for attempting to do so.
