  1. Another day, another Stop Code

BSOD's everyday either in Chrome or Rise of the Tomb Raider. Not sure what part is causing the problem.

Removing the 780 Ti GFX card still repro's the problem. Ran Windows 10 memory tester once, no problems.

    My build:
    cpu: i7-6700K
    gpu: asus GTX 780 Ti
    ram: 2x4GB GeIL ddr4-2133
    mobo: gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3H
    ssd: SAMSUNG 960 EVO M.2 500GB NVMe

attached report is with GFX card removed, relying on Intel HD 530 (which still crashes)

    Attachment 122868

Also recently reinstalled Windows 10. Crashes before and after.

    :)

    Another day, another Stop Code

    The dumpfile is
Code: BugCheck 12B, {ffffffffc00002c4, 6af, 3521d40, ffffaa802ec02000} *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for win32k.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for win32k.sys Probably caused by : memory_corruption Followup: memory_corruption --------- 6: kd> !analyze -v ******************************************************************************* * * * Bugcheck Analysis * * * ******************************************************************************* FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE (12b) This bugcheck indicates that a single bit error was found in this page. This is a hardware memory error. Please start with diagnosing the system RAM first. You can use the free tool "Memtest86+" to stress test the RAM.

    How to run "Memtest"
    MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Tutorials
Make sure you are using the latest version 5.01 - Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

You can stop the test even if a single error is found during the test. Otherwise continue the test for 8-10 passes and post a screenshot with next reply. 8 passes is the recommended bare minimum but more passes will give better result.

Driver Description: Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver

Installation instructions - Windows 10 Error 0x800f081f -Source file not found

Advice: check for all the drivers if you have the latest version installed from the mobo supportpage.

If above does not stop the BSOD.

    You can use Driver Verifier.
You can enable "Driver Verifier" according to instructions from the below link.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Tutorials
"Verifier" is a Microsoft's own tool to stress test third party drivers and find the buggy one. If it detects a violation, a blue screen will be created immediately and the dump will give us the name of offending driver straight forward. After enabling "Verifier" , system will be a bit slow and laggy during to the background verification process. After you got two or more blue screens, please upload the new crash dumps and we will know whether the issue is caused by third party drivers or low level hardware (a verifier enabled dump which blames Windows system files is a clear confirmation of hardware problem).
"Verifier" should be only used to monitor third party drivers. Selecting Microsoft system drivers is totally unnecessary and doing so may make the system non bootable.

Your memory is not listed on the QVL list. You could ask Gigabyte support if this memory is compatible with your mobo.

  11. Well neither my RAM nor M.2 ssd are listed as supported by the Mobo:

    * GeIL EVO FORZA DC 8GB (2 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000) Desktop Memory Model GFY48GB2133C15DC GeIL EVO FORZA DC 8GB (2 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000) Desktop Memory Model GFY48GB2133C15DC - Newegg.com

    From the mobo's memory support list: GA-B150M-DS3H (rev. 1.0) - GIGABYTE - Motherboard , Graphics Card , Laptop , Mini-PC , Server , PC Peripherals and more

I think memtest has ruled out issues with the RAM. Mobo is rated for DDR4 2133 which the RAM is.

A corrupt page table entry is problematic; corrupted page tables will manifest in all kinds of weird bugs. Honestly, I think that paging out to disk is messed up.

timings and voltage looks good. I'm going to wait until the next crash (to rule out Intel MEI), then try updating the BIOS from F4 to F20, though I had downloaded it and Windows complains it can't run the executable, so I'm not sure how to install the BIOS update.

Do you also have a high RAM usage when playing Rise of the Tombraider, are you using Xbox?

Do you have the latest drivers and firmware installed for your M.2 ssd ?
