    I plugged an old SanDisk Extreme III SDHC 8 GB SD card from about 2015 into my Dell Inspiron 5379 laptop running Windows 10 Home 21H2. I might have first used the SD card on a Wii, but I definitely used it on a Thinkpad running Windows... Vista? And like hundreds of people in these forums, when I insert it, Windows pops up "You need to format the disk in drive D:". If I view This PC in File Explorer it shows up as SDHC D: with a cute logo, but when I click it Explorer pops up a "Location is not available" dialog with "The volume does not contain a recognized file system."However, if I insert

    Windows 10 not reading SD card

    Windows 10 will not read my SD cards. I have tried updating the drivers and other suggestions to no avail. I also have a small SD card that needs an adapter and plugs into a usb port. It doesn't read this either.

    Okay that worked, I now have acces to the SD card. But the files have been deleted do you know any solution on how to get it back through my android phone hooked to my windows 10 pc.
