Windows 10: Another instance running configuration system failed to initialise

    Another instance running configuration system failed to initialise


    What is the problem with this company!!! I am getting this annoying pop up since long time... I tried booting the computer... Used that scannow ****, shows everything is fine... I used troubleshoot it show nothing.... I tried to contact this microsoft people but that annoying AI dont let me go through even if it dont have the listed problem and dont let me talk to costumer support... I WANT TO TALK TO ACTUAL HUMAN! and i tried to update windows 10 but it doesn't move past 80%... I troubleshooted for that too wasted 3 hours to restart entire update download and still the same problem... If ever

    Hi, I have got for months now "Another instance running - Configuration system failed to initialise", and I have a lot of trouble starting my laptop!

    It is a Samsung laptop that I upgraded to Win10.

    Do I have to somehow get rind of Win7 in the background?

    Message: "Another instance running - Configuration system failed to initialise" ?

    Hello KJG.

    First run the sfc command.

    1. Search for command prompt or cmd > right click and run as admin

    2. type "sfc /scannow" without quotes

    This will take a bit. afterwords, see if that fixes it.
