Windows 10: Another question regarding Uninstalling "ExpressVPN"

I have been using ExpressVPN for three years now, mostly successfully.But yesterday when I logged in and tried to start it, the app just would not start. I got error messages asking me to reboot or try repairing.I tried all 3 options, none of which would work. All leading back to this error message.I also tried to uninstall it from the Start menu right click and choose Uninstall, and through Settings / Apps and through Control Panel / Programs and Features, none of which worked. I spent time online in a chat box with ExpressVPN support, who suggested many of the same things.I discovered t

How do I delete these Expressvpn files after uninstalling the program.

Open an admin Command Prompt window and run these commands:

(Copy each command and paste it into the command Prompt window to avoid typo errors.)

• takeown /f "C:\ProgramData\ExpressVPN\AccessTokens" /a /r /d y
  

• icacls "C:\ProgramData\ExpressVPN\AccessTokens" /grant %username%:F /T
  

See if you can now delete the "AccessTokens" folder via File Explorer.

It's very possible. Here are three common ways for that to happen:

1- The previous owner installed ExpressVPN.

2- The computer manufacturer installed ExpressVPN at the factory.

3- An application that you installed on your computer asked if it could also install ExpressVPN, and you either agreed, did not disagree, or did not notice that it was happening.
