ANTI MALWARE SERVICE EXECUTABLE USING HIGH MEMORY

The last three laptops I have owned were all running windows, all had the same problem. I am currently running an 8GB SSD HP Elitebook with plenty of power. Still, a minimum 40% of memory is constantly being used by Anti Malware Service Executable. I have spent more than 30 hours with microsoft tech support. There is no fix for this problem. Half the tech's I spoke to barely spoke any english and didn't even know this was a problem. There is no process for escalation with microsoft. If the tech can't solve your problem, the exact same tech rings you again the next day. Some of the fixes I have

  2. ANTI MALWARE SERVICE EXECUTABLE.

    Hello,

It's me Ayan. Actually I'm experiencing high memory and disk usage on my dell Inspiron 5559.It's because of the 'Anti Malware Service Executable'. I've tried everything, Task scheduler, Excluding the process, but still it uses more than 600MB every time.
I know people will say it's a full scan, but everytime? I've tried turning off the Real-Time protection (so-called) but still. I need support ASAP.

    REGARDS, AYAN.

  3. Locked anti malware service executable by TrustedInstaller

    Hi.

the anti malware service executable makes my computer very slow.

I have tried to follow every step in the following guide (Disable Antimalware Service Executable: 5 Ways to Turn It Off) to stop it but it doesnt work.

my last resort was to try to manually delete Windows Defender folder, yet its protected by TrustedInstaller.
And I could not take ownership.

Any help would be welcome as my work is getting delayed due to this situation.

    yours Alon

  4. ANTI MALWARE SERVICE EXECUTABLE USING HIGH MEMORY

    anti malware service executable

I did a complete scan on the PC through Windows defender (win 10) and I saw anti malware service executable in the task manager. It's the first time I do a complete scan. Question: Was this in the task
manager before or I didnt notice it?. I read that it is wasting a lot of cpu usage. If I close it, my pc will be vulnerable to malwares?. Thanks in advance!
