Windows 10: anti virus is off and i have an exclusion for a file but everytime i open it the anti virus...

i bought this game a few months back and worked completely fine with the anti cheat, but after i factory reset my pc and tried downloading and playing it again it doesn't work anymore. I turned off my real time protection and that did nothing. I say a tutorial saying go into redegit and put in the prompt DisableAntiSpyware to see it it worked and it didnt. when i ask people that know things about settings on pc they say to disable real time protection and that already doesnt work. can I get any help? I am on Windows 11. Thank you.

Apparantly, Microsoft posted a list of files that can be "Excluded" from any Anti-Virus that you use to help with scanning performance.

Add rocket league to exclusions from Microsoft Defender Anti-virus scans

I'm adding rocket league to the exclusions from Microsoft defender anti-virus scan. I click add an exclusion, then I select the rocket league app and click open. After that, It doesn't show up in the exclusions. When I try to run the game, the anti-virus still blocks rocket league.
