    Antimalware executable is taking up all of my memory.


    Antimalware executable is taking up like 15 -25 % of my memory. I tried many forms such as command prompts e.g sfc /scannow and DISM /Cleanup-image you get the drill.Its really frustrating as I'm playing and its affecting my gameplay fully. I no longer have the nice smooth gameplay I had. I clean booted my pc because last time I had a malware and afraid it might've spread to mine again??If I try to disable it from task manager the message just denys me.

    Antimalware service executable is taking 50% of memory , did all the solutions suggested on internet still problem is not resolved .!

    Antimalware service executable is taking much memory, I've tried to change windows defender's schedule and add antimalware service executable to windows defender exclusion list and none of those worked.

    I am still having the problem even with the latest prerelease build. The Antimalware Service Executable process is often running and taking a lot of CPU, disk and memory. The same The Antimalware Service Executable -> Windows Defender Service ...
    Too often the PC (an I7 one, 8 GB EliteBook HP) is stuck and even the response of a keyboard entry is very slow!!

    Any suggestions?
