    Antimalware Service Excecutable


    I have tried everything. I've went through the windows CMD and disabled it with a command, I've disabled it in task scheduler, I've disabled it in settings, and in the REGEDIT. And still, once I boot my pc up, after around 30-45 seconds, there it is in my task manager. It will not go away no matter what I do and I'm sick of it. I'm on windows 11 pro, and I have it activated. Please help. P.S.- Yes, it is the windows antimalware. I do not have any 3rd party virus software installed, and the program running is indeed "MsMpEng.exe."

    Currently I'm facing a problem with the antimalware service executable. It uses half of my memory, I did tried some solutions such as: Change Windows Defender’s schedule and Add Antimalware Service Executable to Windows Defender exclusion list. However, none of these solutions has yet fixed my issue. Any help is appreciated.

    Should I install another antivirus program?
