Windows 10: Antmalware Service Executable goes off when loading images

Hello,I have a video editing application, every time I try to import a photo or video the ASE goes off and uses up a lot of disk time.These files are already on my local HD and I expect would have been scanned.Suggestions on what to do?Thanks,V

Antimalware Service Executable slowdown my pc

Sorry for the inconvenience, I would suggest to perform SFC tools. SFC command is to restore corrupted files. Follow these steps.

- Click on "Search" from the taskbar

- Type cmd (Command Prompt)

- Right click on Command Prompt from the search results list.

- Click Run as administrator.

- When Command Prompt launches, type the command: sfc /scannow

And also perform DISM tools. DISM can be used to service and prepare Windows images. Follow these steps.

- Click on "Search" from the taskbar

- Type cmd (Command Prompt)

- Right click on Command Prompt from the search results list.

- Click Run as administrator.

- When Command Prompt launches, type the command below. Enter each of the command:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

I want to Delete Antimalware Service Executable .

Get Autoruns, here... https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sys...loads/autoruns

It's portable. Just extract it to a folder anywhere. Then run: Autoruns64.exe


Do the steps in order... then reboot.
Then go to Services and disable... the Microsoft Defender entries.

If you want to disable the Firewall also... go to Services and disable Windows Defender Firewall, too.
