Windows 10: Any action i do starts eating up my disk.

Recently I've noticed some strange behaviour from my pc. I noticed this only a few days ago and quite fast since i often have my task manager open. Anyways regarding the problem any action i do or app that i open starts to eat up my disk which makes my day to day usage bothersome.When i open a app for example just riot client it suddenly eats up 50% of my disk and then other processes such as the System itself, Antimalware Service Executable, ServiceHost: Local System with SysMain and many other processes start to eat up the disk. For now i resolved the issue with Antimalware service by making

Can't safely remove external disk

In reference to the steps of your suggestions:

• The issue is specific to the particular disk and it started after I've used the disk to save the System image backup (created with the Control Panel > File History tool).
• I didn't disable any windows Service. I'm just wondering if there is any to disable.
• Safe boot with networking, or clean boot doesn't resolve the issue.

Start menu and action center is not working in Windows 10
