    Any FILE HISTORY experts out there who can decipher the codes in the error log?


    On the latest version of windows 10 and using an USB drive for File History... which has space on it... and it actually works in restoring files, I've tested it... but... I digress...Issue A:This one may not be a big deal but it may be related to "Issue B"...In the file history back up log I keep getting an error saying an unusual condition was encountered during finalization...Warning 8/20/2021 3:26:31 PM FileHistory-Core 204 NoneLog Name: Microsoft-Windows-FileHistory-Engine/BackupLogSource: Microsoft-Windows-FileHistory-CoreEvent ID: 204 TaskHome Description: Unusual condition was encou

    Saves log files ?

    You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

    Download CCcleaner from here...........

    CCleaner Professional | Try the world’s most trusted PC cleaner, free!

    You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

    New problem with File History!

    Hi,

    To better assist you with your concern, I would like to ask few information:

    • Which version of Windows are you using?
    • Were there any recent changes that happened on your computer?
    • Are you receiving any error messages? If yes, what is the exact error message?

    You may also go to File History logs to check if there are any Warnings or Errors. To check logs, follow the steps below:

    • Go to Control Panel.
    • Click on File History.
    • On the left hand side, click on Advanced Settings.
    • In the Advanced Settings page, click on Open File History event logs to view recent events or errors.
    • Check if there are any Warnings or Errors showing.

    Any FILE HISTORY experts out there who can decipher the codes in the error log?

    BIOS error codes

    So I have motherboard with installed small LED screen, which presents BIOS error codes.

    Where can I find a list of those errors. And I don't mean beep codes, but the "number" codes.

    Ex after installing sound card, the motherboard startup fails with the code 15.
