    Any good and uncomplicated RDP or TeamViewer alternatives?


    Hey everyone,I’ve been struggling with Windows Remote Desktop—it keeps throwing error code 0x204 when I try to connect, and I’m about ready to give up on it. I’ve also tried TeamViewer, but it keeps blocking my remote sessions with a “commercial use detected” notification, even though I’m just trying to connect to my home laptop.Anyone know a good alternative that actually works without all these hassles? Any help would be appreciated!Thanks!

    Teamviewer Alternative: Ultraviewer

    Not sure if anyone is familiar with this one but at work we use Solarwinds Dameware for a LOT of the work we do. For external support we utilize TeamViewer. I believe we share 3 licenses that can be active at a single time. For personal use i also use Teamviewer as well since its very very convenient.

    As to the software suggested i rather test it in a Sandbox Environment before i even think of installing on a PC.

    Freeware Alternative(s) for RDP?

    I have been using TeamViewer for years but take a look at:

    I even use TeamViewer with my Windows Phone.

    TeamViewer even has a version for Linux. In my case it runs very nicely in Mint 17.1. I can access my Windows home computer with it when away from home.

    What is a good free, trustworthy alternative to TeamViewer / LogMeIn?

    Anydesk is a good tool. I use Splashtop but there is a nominal fee each year for use over internet.
