    my laptop corrupts all compressed files

    Hi Ahmed,

    What sofrware are you using for the rar files, WinRar is about the only app that successfully decompresses those

    I have the following apps loaded for file compression and decompression and never have any trouble:

    Universal Extractor - most files except Rar and 7Zip

    7Zip - for 7z files

    WinRar for rar files

    I use 7zip or Winrar for all my archiving needs.

    1 super compression program that I know is the KGB archiver. but that's a long time ago, I dunno if its still good now
