Windows 10: Any 'open' or 'select download' folder on any app crashes the app.

If I go to Firefox, chrome, edge and select where I want the download, it either crashes the app or takes 30ish seconds to start responding. This isn't just on browsers. Any app that opens an explorer dialog to select something will crash. I have a brand new HP x360 14-ef0xxx.I've done sfc scannow, windows repair, and other troubleshooting steps. Nothing helps. I'd rather not have to reinstall windows so any help is appreciated.

Split Steam app folder between 2 HDD?

As the title suggests I want to find out if there's a way I can split my steam app folder on to 2 drives, specifically an SSD that I will be putting my OS and most used games and apps and a regular HDD for everything else?

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Can't Select Photoshop as a Default App

Hi
I've just downloaded Photoshop CC2018 and tried to make it the default photo viewer, but it does not appear in the list of apps that I can select from. Have also tried doing the same for opening .jpg files, but just the same, no Photoshop! I have rebooted the system a couple of times but it makes no difference.

Any suggestions?
