    Any possibility to run Windows XP on newer motherboard


    Though this is a Windows 10 forum but if any one can help. I am running Windows 10 but for some purposes I needed XP also. I just changed my motherboard and now my Windows XP giving boot error that File "Ntoskrnl is missing". I know that this file is not missing because I am able to boot this XP hard disk on my old motherboard. It seems that this is false error and this is happening due to new motherboard.

    Is there any possibility to run XP on this new motherboard or I will have to use old motherboard only.

    one more thing, can macrium redeployment be useful in this scenario?.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    XP vs 7

    The RAM being only 1.6GB is why I wouldn't suggest any Windows newer than XP/2003.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
