Windows 10: Any signification within Windows that an Upgrade is pending?

Hello,I'm writing a script to automate the Windows 11 upgrade process. While the script captures the exit code from setup.exe, I'm particularly interested in identifying if the initial upgrade phase before the first restart completes successfully.Is there any documented information or specific keywords to look for in the logs generated by setup.exe that would indicate successful completion of the initial stage?Alternatively, are there any registry entries or markers created by setup.exe after the initial process that a script could check for verification?I've searched Microsoft documentation

Windows authomatic downloads are all pending.

I recently had to reinstall Windows 10. Now my Windows updates all say pending but they are all pending. I have tried all the steps suggested in the community forum all except doing a clean installation. What can I do. I upgraded from Windows 8 several
years back and now I have Windows 8 and Windows 10 downloads. What can I do

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Cancel a pending upgrade to Windows 11

I had this issue as well. After reverting back to Windows 10, the following seems to have resolved it for me, and cancelled the pending Windows 11 upgrade.

1. Add the following registry key using CMD/PowerShell as Administrator
   
   1. REG ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v ProductVersion /t REG_SZ /d "Windows 10"
      
   2. This key instructs Windows to only receive Feature Updates for the Windows 10 product
      
2. Click 'Pause updates' in Settings > Windows Update
   
3. Restart the Windows Update service (wuauserv)
   
4. Click to resume updates in Settings > Windows Update
   
5. Check for updates to verify that it does not attempt the upgrade again
