Im unable to boot windows at all. It previously worked well for a while maybe years, I tried to “reset windows” to another drive and an error occurred which now leaves me unable to boot from that drive or any past my bios it just sits with my motherboard brand, it used to display black screen with white underscore blinking however when I deleted all partitions and tried to install windows that way I can no longer get the blinking under score and instead I’m locked at the bios brand screen. I can get into bios however. The drives show up as “windows manager” in bios, when the installer for win

  2. Not being able to boot into the bios

I recently setup a new pc and once it was up and running decided to install the drivers (which in turn led me to downloaded the latest bios file.
I performed the following steps for all of those drivers (except bios)

    1. Download all folders to desktop
    2. Unzip those
    3. Open them and run the setup programme
For the bios I basically followed the steps shown in this link [Motherboard] How to use USB BIOS FlashBack™? | Official Support | ASUS Global

    1. Opened the unzipped folder
    2. Renamed the bios
    3. Copied it to a usb
    4. Turned off pc and inserted usb to the bios slot on the back of motherboard.
    5. Pressed and held the bios button on back of motherboard until it started flashing.
    6. Waited for flashing to finish, removed the usb and turned on pc.
    Problem

After this I waited for the PC to load however it never seemed to load into the bios and eventually just booted up to windows.
I subsequently have tried entering the bios so that I can change my ram frequency but it doesn't seem to let me and boots me back to windows (my hunch is that it could be caused by some updates I may have performed as initially when first loading before updates I could access the bios through UEFI Firmware Settings).

When I try the following steps it just loads me back into windows rather than the bios

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Click on Update & Security.
    3. Click on Recovery.
    4. Under the "Advanced startup" section, click the Restart now button.

Quick tip: If you have a legacy BIOS, the option will not be available.Source: Windows Central
    8. Click the Restart button.

Once you complete the steps, the device will restart and boot into the UEFI firmware allowing you to change advanced settings, such as to disable or enable secure boot, change boot order, set up a hardware RAID array, enable virtualization, and other settings depending on the motherboard support.

Can someone tell me what could be wrong and how I can fix it?

Windows stuck in automatic repair; Can't access BIOS/ boot menu

I've changed the boot order through both BIOS and the boot manager, as my original post stated. Neither did anything, but both were functional in the past. Neither listed the windows boot manager, either. Previously, it would boot just as expected whenever
other media was set as the first option, so I'm pretty sure there are no issues there.

As my original post suggested, I've already tried out the steps you gave. I've gone through all the options listed in the boot menu, UEFI or not.

My BIOS and boot menu settings were at their defaults when all of this started, so that's been tried already, if those are what you're referring to.
