Windows 10: Any tips to get task scheduler working?

I have a media centre PC and having upgraded to Windows 10 I notice the Task Scheduler no longer worksHaving trawled the help files on-line and tried all the help I now find myself asking on the Microsoft Community if anyone has any ides or if anyone knows a freeware scheduler that can run a .exe in the background / hidden?The Windows scheduler will only allow me to set up the task, and it works daily at the time I set the task up but unfortunately if I try to alter any of the parameters it throws errors and will not saveI have tried running the user as SYSTEM, and it accepts the configuration

Task scheduler not working anymore.
