    Any tool/setting to keep displays from turning off while audio is playing?


    Basically title, I'm looking for a tool that will detect an audio stream and keep my displays from turning off while it's active. My audio is fed through one of my monitors so when it goes to sleep, I lose my music even though it continues playing since the computer itself hasn't gone to sleep.

    How do I keep HDMI audio on while the display is turned off

    Hi,

    I have soundbar that's connected to my PC via HDMI (which then connects to my TV). The PC is set to have the monitor turned off after 5 min of inactivity. This appears to turn off the HDMI audio as well.

    Is there any way to keep audio going when the display is turned off?

    How do I prevent Display from turning off when playing audio? POWERCFG

    I recently installed the iHeart Radio app on my Windows 10 PC. After 10 minutes my PC Display turned off. Seems the app doesn't keep the PC Display from turning off. In my power settings, I have my display set to turn off after 10 minutes and computer to sleep to never. How can I use POWERCFG to prevent my display from turning off when the iHeart app is playing? Actually, it would be nice that it doesn't turn off when ANY audio is playing. Thanks for any help...

    Display does not turn off when pc is idle

    Just did all the suggestions. Did not work. Display does not turn off.

    This issue was from the beginning when I downloaded Win 10. I had Win 8.1 and the display always turned off as I set it.

    My pc is HP Pavilion Touchsmart 23 all-in-one. According to "checking for updated drivers on display and monitors", I always get the response that the drivers currently installed are the correct ones.
