Windows 10: Any tools help to selective upgrade for window 7?

I would like to know on any tools help to selective upgrade for window 7?Does anyone have any suggestions?Thanks in advance

is hardware OK (Win 7) for upgrade to windows 10

I think in one of the other PC with win 7 or win 8.1 I run media creators tools and in some step prompt/found graphics card not supported... for win 10. I didn't found alone reading specs of win 10, but the tool says me... after changed graphics card the tool said all OK and continued OK with upgrade... That I ask to reach this step in this current PC - win 7 - must be all OK for the upgrade? Or must continue to upgrade to show this?

Steps for upgrading windows 7 to windows 10 using media creation tool? (My system has dual OS windows 7 and Ubuntu 13)

I recently tried to upgrade my system using the media creation tool from Microsoft's website. I downloaded the iso file created a bootable usb from it and then restarted my system after changing the boot sequence. The rest of the steps are as follows:

• Selected the option to keep files( the first one)
• Selected language, keyboard and clicked on next
• Skipped the windows 10 product key page and then it asked me to remove usb and restart system, plug it in and click on setup to install.
  
• Then the progress bar reached 100% and showed a message that windows will restart.
• Now I removed my usb as it would again boot from usb instead from the internal disk.
• It went to the grub page where I normally select which OS to boot from
• I selected windows 7 and then it showed a modal window saying windows upgrade could not be completed due to some boot issue.

Now my doubts are :

• when to remove the usb.
• If I remove the usb then it goes to the grub screen and the same thing happens as shown in step 6 and 7
  
• If I do not remove my usb then it boots from pendrive again asks from step 1 listed above.
• Should I remove Ubuntu and grub to do a normal upgrade.

I have a genuine windows 7 and just want to upgrade it so that I would not mess up with the license.

Can any one help me on this.
