Changing the default reminder timing for calender events

Currently when i add an event on my calender using my phone services online, the default reminder timing is set at 15mins... is it possible for me to change it to 1 hour or 30 mins?

  3. Changing default notifications on diary events

Aargh, that is a know problem to me too(any many more I thinkAny way to change the default event time (4-5 AM) when adding events from the taskbar? :))

What you should do is: when you create an all day event in Outlook, be careful to check the reminder.

Normally for meetings that last say some hours, the default reminder time is 15 mins.

    BUT:

when you press the "all day event" option, all of a sudden the default reminder changes to 18 hours !

I have not yet found a way in Outlook to set the all day event default to be "none". Really frustrating, but that is how it is.

(you can change the default reminder in Outlook so that it is "no reminder", but I don't like that beause then my phone not remind me of my normal daily meetings 15 mins before and I would surely be late from most of them then.

SO: This is what I do. When ever I create a all day event in Outlook, I always change the default 18 hours to 0 hours and also choose "no reminder". That seems to do the trick, no alarm in phone calendar then.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

In order to assist you further with the issue could you please confirm a couple of things:

    • How do you access Calendar? Is it through a Web Browser or an Email Client?
    • Are you referring to the default Calendar app?
    • Did you make any changes to your account before you encountered the issue?
Nevertheless, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check whether you're able to see the events in your Account:
