Windows 10: Any way to enable game bar for only some games?

In most instances, I would like the guide button on my Xbox controller to open up the xbox game bar overlay so I can take a screenshot or whatever, but in certain games, like emulators (RetroArch, Dolphin) I have it mapped as the menu button and therefore don't want it to toggle the menu as well as the Game Bar overlay.

Is there a way to disable the game bar on a per-game basis, or the opposite and enable it on a per-game basis?

Hiding New Game Bar when Recording

Hi LeviathanTheEsper,

Normally, You can play your games while recording it in the background. It seems that background recording is not enabled on your computer that's why the Game bar is showing up when playing your games. Let's check if background recording is enabled by performing
the following steps:

1. Press the Windows key, then select the gear icon to access Settings.
2. Go to Gaming.
3. Select Game DVR.
4. Under Background Recording, check if the toggle switch is enabled.

Can't enable game bar

I have just tried all solutions but they didn't fix it. Is there any other way?

Sorry for bad English, hope you understand)))

EDIT: I changed some thing from 0 to 1 in regedit and enabled game DVR ( it's enabled in settings and xbox app and does not disable by itself) but now I can't open game bar in games, can't record and can't broadcast.
