    whats the official reason for the connect menu being removed?ive reverted back to windows 10 as there's no equivalent on windows 11in windows 10 its: windows+k >click device you want to connect toany solutions that are as simple as above? dont provide a work around if its not as simple as the above mentioned

    Hi Stephanie,

    Just to confirm, is this the same thing that you tried on your phone, in order to turn off Amber Alerts?

    • Open Settings.
    • Tap on System.
    • Tap on Messaging.
    • Tap on the Change emergency alert settings link.
    • Turn on or off the emergency alerts you want.

    Let us know if this was the same thing that you tried.

    We would also suggest to reset your phone after doing these steps to ensure that the changes on your phone's settings will be refreshed.

    Simply press and hold the Power and Volume down button for 15 seconds and then release your hold afterwards.

    Program to monitor USB connected devices and alert to changes?

    Just wondering if there are any programs out there that can capture the current list of USB connected devices, then regularly poll for changes and alert the user as to what has changed. I have an issue where, sometimes, a USB device will not be recognized when I boot or switch PC's on my KVM. Sometimes it happens after using the computer for a while. Unfortunately, when the device is not recognized, there is no way to really identify what it is. I've swapped out EVERYTHING, but still see this issue. Different KVM, keyboard, mouse, webcam, USB hub, completely new PC, fresh Windows installation... etc. It would be great to be able to capture the current list of USB devices manually, then have the computer pop up an alert when this list changes.

    I'm looking to change to a custom text alert by adding it to the list or overcopying one of the existing tones

    Prof Julie answered a similar question by stating the obvious of going to settings and changing the text alert. I'm looking to change to a custom text alert by adding it to the list or overcopying one of the existing tones. It can be done with a ringtone
    so I suspect there's a way to do it with the text alerts as well. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
