Windows 10: Any way to improve three finger swipe to switch window focus?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there is anyway to remove the menu that pops up when you three finger swipe to change window focus so be more like on Mac?

I really like my track pad gestures however, when switching windows, a 'menu' pops up, showing all open programs and the sensitivity in that menu is insanely high. It makes switching between windows extremely frustrating.

On Mac, when you three finger swipe, you simple switch to the next window, no menu, no sensitivity issue.

Does anyone have a solution for this or a way to improve it?

Would appreciate any input or any suggestion on where to find help regarding this topic!

Trackpad Gestures in Windows 10 are doing the wrong things - three finger swipe not working

I am not sure you understood my explanation. I would like the trackpad to work exactly they way you described but currently:

• Three finger swiping left and right doesn't do anything unless I am in a browser and then it functions as a "back" button or "forward" button going to the last webpage I was on.
• Three finger swiping down opens settings but it should minimize all windows
• Three finger swiping up opens Cortana but it should be task switch

How do I fix these gestures so that it works like you described like the following:

• See all open windows: Place three fingers on the touchpad and swipe them away from you.
• Show the desktop: Place three fingers on the touchpad and swipe them towards yourself.
• Switch between open windows: Place three fingers on the touchpad and swipe right or left.

 

Four Finger Swipe to switch multiple desktops

Windows 10 is great but it would be even better if we could use a 4 finger swipe to strategically switch through desktops. I use a surface book i5 and need to virtualize in order to separate network oriented task and I also like to use one note and other
apps full screen. A four finger swipe would simplify switching between those task and orientations.

 

April 2019 update - 3 fingers swiping gesture problem

This new update changed the behavior of 3 fingers swiping gesture, let's suppose I have 3 opened programs, chrome(has focus) firefox and a folder, when I used to swipe with three fingers, it goes from chrome to firefox, and when I swipe again it goes BACK
to chrome, but now when I swipe the second time it goes to the folder, it just keeps switching between ALL the opened programs instead of going to the last switched program.

Any idea how to fix this? thanks!
