Any way to pin a folder existing in the All Applications menu to the Start menu ?

HI,Many desktop applications are installing in the All Applications menu a folder containing various items pointing to documentation, help files and various utilities related to the main program. Such folders appear in the All Applications menu when I click on "All applications" in the Windows 11 Start menu pane. Unfortunately, if I can individually pin each item from the All Applications to the Start menu, I can't do that for folders. For example, the folder "Microsoft Office Tools" appears in the "All Applications" menu but I can't pin it to the Start menu.I can't imagine that I will be for

How to pin shortcut to start menu.

Sergiy Shklyar - You are a genius. This is the solution for pinning a non-executable to the Start Menu. Many thanks.

How do ya add to window start menu?

Is this thing you want to add located anywhere in the start menu, If it is then locate it and r-click > select PIN to start menu. It will be moved to the light blue area. If its a folder on the desktop etc it should work But you need to make a shortcut first then on the shortcut R-click > select Pin to start menu.

If 'pin to start menu' is not there then just drag and drop it into start menu, this only works with start menu items IE "all programs" items.

That should do it I hope, if not post back. *Toast :toast:

How to pin shortcut to start menu.

At first, you can create a shortcut in your Programs folder
(in a hidden folder C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs). The shortcut appears in
All apps list. Then you can pin it to Start menu / Taskbar as Mayank Gupta10 suggested.

The common way is to create a shortcut on the Desktop.
But the more elegant way is creating Custom toolbars.
