Windows 10: Any way to reset/change/delete group policy admin privilege's if I dont have full overwrite...

Been having this weird issue for a while now where if I try to download certain files I get certain restrictions and I cannot change certain settings or do updates because 'some settings are managed by your organization' stated in Win Update. Its a personal use computer where Im the only user, however there seem to be group policy restrictions in place that I didn't set up. Ive tried altering in the group policy registry and policy settings, but I wasn't able to change some settings because of the limited access. Anything I should try or would making a new user resolve the issue?

GROUP POLICIES IN WINDOWS 10

You can change Group Policies by opening Group Policy Editor first. You can open it by following these steps:

• Log in an administrator account. If you are already logged in as an administrator, proceed to step 2.
  
• Press Windows + R to open Run.
• Type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
  

After opening Group Policy Editor, you can now make the necessary changes that you want.

Administrative template missing in group policy editor.

I have Windows 10 version 1909 (OS Build 18363.1171).I want to speed up the loading of thumbnails in the file explorer for pdf files. I went to this article and it lists the steps that involve editing the group policy. https://www.guidingtech.com/speed-up-thumbnail-loading-windows-10/


Unfortunately, I am not getting the administrative template in my group policy editor and cannot proceed.





I am the sole user of my laptop with admin privileges. Please advise.

I tried installing admin templates from this link but it didn't solve my issue.
