Windows 10: Any way to use XP computer's fax/modem from Win10?

My mother just died, and I've been needing to fax copies of my mom's death certificate to various places. It's either fax it or snail mail it, and for some reason they insist on "certified copies" of the death certificate if I snail mail it, and those cost money to get from the county. I'm also running out of them, with only 3 left. For some reason they give me the alternative to fax it, but the only way I have to do that is with the fax modem in my Windows 98SE/XP dual-boot computer, although I could in theory use a laptop that is also running XP that has a built-in modem. I got broadband in 2002, so haven't needed modems since then.

Fortunately the old copy of Acrobat is up to the task of opening the PDF created by my scanner's software and can "print" it to the fax.

Is there any way I can set up some kind of share to allow my Windows 10 computer that I'm doing most of my work on to send faxes to the XP computer?

What I've been doing is using Remote Desktop (or is it Remote Administration?) to log on to the XP computer without bothering to scoot my chair over to it and sending things, but I want to do a letter to include as well I have to either type it into Windows Fax or write it on the XP computer (or at least save it in a format the XP computer can open with Office 2003).

Any suggestion that don't assume I inherited a fortune from mom? I'm not going to waste money buying a fax modem for the Win10 computer when I'm probably not going to need it in a months time.

Also I just remembered that I think the Win7 computer came with a modem built-in, so that is an alternative. I never hooked it up because by then I didn't need it and if I needed to send a fax I could use the not-quite-as-obsolete-in-2009-a--in-2024 XP computer. Sorry, it hasn't been my primary computer since 2018.

 

Connecting XP computer to WIFI

Since connecting to NBN my XP computer won't connect to internet. It finds the modem but doesn't connect. Any suggestions welcome.

 

My Windows XP has no modem driver for 5070.

I've installed the PC Suite and it excellent works with my phone.

At next step I want to use my phone as GPRS-modem.

I do next thing to reach it:

Push -> control panel -> phone and modem -> modems -> join -> and.. i chose the producer:Nokia, but when i want to chose the model I don't see my model in list.

I think it absent because my windows XP is old. Sorry, I haven't possibility to update my windows.

Where can i find the driver for "installing from disk"?

Looking for it on microsoft.com and nokia.com was in vain.
