Windows 10: Any website I visit is taking too long to respond.

I was on a game and I was suddenly disconnected from it. I ran the network troubleshooter, and it said that my computer was fine, but the device or resource was not responding. I tried to visit www.google.com it errored me saying google.com took too long to respond. I tried 3 other websites and got the same error. My feed wasn't updating and widows couldn't download updates. I flushed my dns cache, made sure my hosts file wasn't tampered with, and made SURE I was connected to the network.What gives?

There are several reasons why a website takes too long to respond. One of which is if the internet connection is intermittent. To isolate the issue, please answer the following questions:

• When did the issue start?
• Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?
• Are you connected via wireless or wired connection?
• Does this happen to all websites you visit?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

'long running script' error

The issue may occur due to setting configuration of your IE11. In order for us to assist you, please answer the questions below:

• Were there any changes made prior to the issue?

Sorting the Edge's frequently visited sites

I suggest you to follow the below given steps and check if issue is resolved.

• Open Microsoft Edge browser home page.
• Click on Customize on the Home page
• Select the particular category to watch the specific suggestion.

Also follow the below given steps and check if that answers your query.

• Open Microsoft Edge.
• Click on More action(…) on left most corner.
• Click on Settings.
• Select Top sites and suggested content under Open New tabs with
• Open new tab to check if it shows the Most visited website.
