    Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 redistributable (x64) - 11.0.61030 Installer Error

    Since the troubleshooting steps provided did not resolve your concern, we then suggest that you download and run the Windows Update Troubleshooter. You can download it here:

    We also suggest that you try the troubleshooting steps provided by

    Hi John,

    There are several reasons why you are having issues installing iTunes on your computer. Having said that, we will be doing some troubleshooting steps to isolate the cause of this issue. Before we proceed, may we know the following:

    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
    • Can you send us a screenshot of the error message that you are getting?
      Note: Please do not include any personal information.

    In the meantime, we suggest that you download The Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package and then install it on the computer. Please see links below:


    After downloading and installing the said item, kindly download iTunes and check if you will still experience the same issue.

    Please post back with the result for further assistance.

    Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 Installation Error

    Hello,

    I've tried all the steps and none of them worked.

    • Method 1 did not work because the Fix It said it doesn't run on my operating system.
    • I was able to do Method 2 but it did not fix the issue.
    • I was also able to do Method 3 but that did not fix the issue.
    I also tried to install the VC++ Redistributable Package while doing a clean boot but that did not work.

    Do you have any other suggestions?
