Windows 10: Anyone else having sound cut out during games when using any type of wondows surround?

So started happening to me an update or two ago and it's really ruining my gaming experience. Windows will randomly disable the surround sound (it can be sonic, Dolby or DTS) while I am in game causing my audio to cutout and forcing me to restart a game. When in mp game this is particularly game breaking.

I thought it might just be Dolby atmos but it's not sadly it's all of them.

Anyone else having this issue? Tried reinstalling the apps though sonic is inbuilt.

Sound cuts out when in game and call

My headset's sound cuts out when i'm calling my friends and playing games at the same time. This usually happens 30-40 minutes in. It happens with every single program that we have tried, including
skype, curse voice, discord, and even facebook (since we were pretty desperate). I have recently purchased a Steelseries Siberia 150 headset, however I doubt that the headset itself is malfunctioning, since I was having issues with my previous headset too.

When the sound cuts out, I can't hear anything from the call or the game, and my friends can't hear me. Reconnecting to the game solves the in-game sound issues, but doesn't affect the call, obviously. I've
noticed that the sound sometimes cuts out in a pattern. I can hear in-game sounds for roughly 2 seconds, and then can't hear anything for another 2, and this repeats consistently. Youtube remains unaffected, and I can hear everything on it when the sound in
game is gone.

I've noticed that these issues are nowhere near as common when I am not calling anyone, and practically never happen when I am playing offline games.

Kind of desperate at this point, so any suggestion is completely welcome. Thanks in advance!

 

N95 cutting out during calls.

I see from the earlier entries that people have trouble with their N93 cutting out. Does anyone else have any problems with their N95? Mine gives a buzz in your ear during a call and then cuts out. It also does the same when someone calls me and during
the conversation again it cuts out. I love my phone but it is becoming more hassle than it's worth.
