Windows 10: anyone has issues with audio drivers after last windows upgrade? any advice how to fix it?

After a recent Windows 11 update, my Dell Inspiron 16 4670 2-in-1 stopped recognizing any external audio devices connected via the 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s no sound output, and the headphones don’t appear in the Sound settings at all.What I’ve tried so far:Ran the audio troubleshooter – no issues detected.Checked Sound settings – only internal speakers are listed.Rebooted several times and re-plugged headphones.Looked in Device Manager – no Realtek or external audio device is listed.Installed all optional and regular Windows updates.Tested multiple working headphones.This issue only start

Windows 10 audio driver issue

I suggest you to follow the methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: Perform playing audio Troubleshoot.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
  
• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter

Method 2: Updating the Audio drivers.

Try updating the Audio drivers from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

1. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

2. Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.

3. Right-click on the Sound card and click on Update driver software.

4. Restart the computer and check.
