    Anyone know how to improve audio on dell laptops?


    Hello. I would like to know how to improve audio on my Dell Attitude E5550. It uses the standard realtek audio drivers that came with it. The only problem is that when a workload is put on the computer (entering online video calls, watching YouTube videos, and playing games) the audio just starts to crackle. This has been getting on my nerves and bothering me. Does anyone know how to fix this? Sorry for any spelling or format errors, I am on my phone at the time of writing this.

    Can not record audio.

    Hi,

    We suggest that you run troubleshooting for Audio Recording by following these steps:

    • Type troubleshooting on the search box.
    • Click View all.
    • Select Recording Audio.
    • Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

    • Type Troubleshoot in the Search box.
    • Click on Troubleshoot to run the app.
    • Run the the following troubleshooters listed below and check the results:
    • Hardware and Devices
    • Bluetooth
    • Recording Audio
    • Speech
    If the issue persists, we suggest that you visit the device manufacturer's website to download the latest drivers for your PC.

    I want to disable touchpad on Dell laptop


    These 7 steps allowed me to disable my touchpad (Dell laptop, Windows 10):

    1. Win Start button
    2. Type in "device manager"
    3. Select Device Manager to open it
    4. Click down arrow to left of "Mice and other..." to expand
    5. Right click Dell Touchpad
    6. Disable device
    7. Yes
