    Anyone know why I cannot send an .epub file from Windows to my phone via Bluetooth?


    When I attempt to send the file I get the message "This Bluetooth devicee or computer cannot process files of this type." As an experiment, I changed the extension from .epub to .doc and it transmitted just fine. Unfortunately, my mobile OS (Android 9) won't allow changing file extensions, but that's a different problem altogether...



    Any ideas?

    epub files ?

    How can I read epub files on WP7? there is a program called freda claim it can run epub files. but how do I get them in Freda or if there is any other progam? on iphone I used to use Stanza to get epub files and readt time.

    I was using calibre to convert pdf files and via wireless upload on stanza. this was pretty useful. is there anyway? should I use sharepoint to get them on phone?

    Opening EPUB file with Edge

    Hi,

    You can read .ePub files in Microsoft Edge so long as they are not protected. The latest Windows 10 build brings EPUB file format support to Edge, allowing users to read their favorite EPUB books directly in the browser. To resolve your concern,
    we suggest that you associate the file type to Edge as well. To do this, please follow the steps below:

    • Type Control Panel in the Search bar and press Enter.
    • Type Default Programs in the Control Panel Search bar.

    • Click the Default Programs and select Associate a file type or protocol with a program option.

    • Double-click the .ePub file type.
    • Once the pop-up window shows the option, click on More apps drop down then select Edge.

    Unable to send files via Bluetooth to my Android Phone w/Windows 10


    I have always right clicked on a file in a folder, Send To, Bluetooth and then selected my phone and it would send. Now my phone lights up like it wants to receive the file but it never does send. This happened right after I upgraded to Windows 10. Has anyone experienced this and/or solved this? Thanks!
