Windows 10: anyone notice this accidental delete of items in Windows Mail?

I have used the original Outlook as a client, non-web app for almost two decades, and always have been a bit put off by web mail apps, but in the last year or two I've gotten quite used to the mail web app in Win 10. That said, I have a gripe about the user interface in this otherwise really great app. If you move around your screen with mouse, there are 3 icons that appear "out of nowhere" in a convenient but high risk screen area - right between sender and subject line pasting here. One of those icons DELETES the mail item. Many times I've been startled as I've inadvertently deleted an email that I had no intention of deleting, then I have to hunt around to recover that is, *if* I noticed what I did; otherwise I get frustrated with missing emails.


See the picture here of the "white space" where the icons will suddenly appear when you hover. Has anyone else run into this phenom that I would somewhat rudely say is a "user interface design error"?

Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

 

How to retrieve accidentally deleted to-do item?

I accidentally deleted a to-do item in windows calendar to-do list. I immediately shut off the phone but still it's synced already and I can't find it online.

I know it probably is impossible to retrieve it, but still worth a try.

Deleted items in Windows Mail

I have some 300 items in my Windows Mail deleted folder. Is there any way I can tell Mail to hold only the latest 50 deleted items only rather than occasionally enter the folder and delete a number of older items by hand?
