Windows 10: Anything happening to fix Windows 11 issues with network USB connected storage?????????

I, like many, have had no luck accessing a USB hard drive attached to my router in Windows 11. It works on my Windows 10 machine, and USED TO work on 3 older installations of Windows 11, but one has since stopped functioning. Which basically guarantees the problem lies in one of their updates. I spent 3 days on connected to Microsoft help trying to address this on my newest computer, but their advanced help person could not fix the problem. I repeat, 3 days sitting around watching while a connected MS tech turned everything on my brand new, reasonably high end computer inside out and upside

Issues with network adapters

Hi Alfonso,

To resolve this issue, we suggest that you run the Network troubleshooter when you switch from WiFi to Ethernet connection. The Network troubleshooter can help diagnose and fix common connection problems including clearing the network cache to obtain a new
IP from the new network. Kindly follow the steps below:

• In the search box on the taskbar, type Identify and repair network problems, and then select
  Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
• Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.
