    Apache monitor disappeared from tray

The Apache monitor has been in my systray ever since I installed Apache years ago. The other day it disappeared from the tray. So I shut down my laptop to give it a rest for about half an hour, then restarted it. Apache monitor did not reappear in the tray. Apache itself isn't affected. Everything works in that respect, I just don't have the monitor at my disposal. I can go into Services and restart Apache when I need to, but the monitor in the tray was meant to avoid doing that, among other things. Anyone know how to get it back? See "System Two" in My Computers for whatever specs you might want to see.

    :)

  2. Apache

    Hi Blue

My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

    Click Start

    Type: cmd

    Right click CMD

    Click Run as administrator

Navigate to the default Apache installation directory, for example, C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache or wherever apache.exe is located.

You can CD Program Files\Apache Group\Apache

    Hit Enter

At the command prompt, type apache -u.

    Close the Command Prompt window.

Go to Windows Services and check that Apache is no longer listed as a service.

    Press Windows key + R

    Type: services.msc

    Hit Enter

Uninstall Apache HTTP Server 1.3.26 in Programs and Features

    Press Windows key + R

    Type: appwiz.cpl

    Hit Enter

    Scroll through the list.

Delete any Apache installation directories in Windows Explorer, for example, C:\Apache.

  3. Tray icon disappears

I've been experiencing since the installation of Windows XP SP2 on multiple machines with the ATITool Tray Icon disappearing upon load at system startup. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. Enabling or Disabling the "Hide Inactive (tray) Icons" WinXP menu option doesn't have any effect. The only way to open ATITool after it has loaded is to go through the start menu to open it again. I have "minimize on close" selected in ATITool. When closing ATITool, you see it make the motions of minimizing to the tray area but no icon is displayed. Any ideas?

desktop agent tray error message in windows 10

I tried the following suggestion. When I got to step 4, the list provided no checkmarks to uncheck and the icon for Desktop Agent Tray was a checkmark in a yellow circle. nothing happened when I clicked on the yellow circle with the checkmark. the title
on the list was Desktop Agent Tray(2) Clicking on the title opened a title beneath the Desktop Agent Tray (2) which did not have the (2)

the publisher of both titles was CenturyLink Inc and the status for the entry with the (2) was enabled and the status of the other entry was blank. Changing the status to disabled did nothing. the Start up impact was listed as high. There was another
entry under the two Desktop Agent Tray titles There was an icon then Dw20 with a high start up impact. No where was there a place to uncheck or delete. So far the box which lists the error disappears and there seems to be no problem. I just wonder why
    it is there,
