Windows 10: Apostrophe key doesnt work on UK layout but does on US?

I recently got a new keyboard. Im in the UK and its a US layout keyboard so I tried experimenting with the US layout to see how comfortable it was but I didnt like it so I uninstalled the US layout pack but now, for whatever reason, the apostrophe key doesnt work. When I reinstalled the US layout it works, but when I switch back to the UK layout it doesnt.Before I experimented with the US mode as well, it worked then. Im not sure why it doesnt anymore.EDIT: It seems to work when signing in for whatever reason but as soon as Im signed in it stops working again

Keyboard settings (UK layout not working)

I have a UK layout keyboard (shift + 2 is "), but my computer insists on using US layout (shift + 2 is @). I use a Corsair STRAFE keyboard.

• In iCue (Corsair keyboard app), the layout is set to UK.
• In Settings app, the system language is English UK. The Preferred language is English UK, and the keyboard has one layout, English UK.
  • If I add a US keyboard to it, and use Win + Space, two options show up to cycle through:
    • English (UK) - US Keyboard
      
    • English (US) - US Keyboard
• In Control Panel main menu, there is only 'Clock and Region,' not 'Clock,
  Language, and Region.'

Please any help would be great!

 

Apostrophe key not working ***read description***

And when I look at my OSK the apostrophe and quote are flipped, on my keyboard the quote is on the bottom of the key and the apostrophe is on top of the key. Dont know if that matters. But other than that yes, its the same.

Ok, so this started happening about a week ago, I will try to type and use the apostrophe key, but the actual symbol will not type, but if I hold shift and hit it, quotes will type, so that is working, but for some reason apostrophe will not type.

Heres the kicker, it works when I start windows, but then about 10 seconds into getting onto my desktop, it stops working, so something is initiating and messing with my keyboard.

I have all my languages set to US and not US International. Not sure what could be causing this and Im about 3 seconds away from wiping my computer just to start over. You dont realize how important the apostrophe key is until it doesnt work because of some
setting inside windows.
