App & Browser control tells me that there is an unwanted application on my computer. But when i try to review it there seems to be nothing.Id be happy to provide further information to help you guys resolve this problem.My PC ran quite slow and weird in the last time that this has been an active warning but I never found a solution to this problem and im worried that this might be some sort of malware.

UNWANTED BROWSERS

Hi Carl,

Click start - type “control panel” and open it.

Now look for programs and features. Look for “fast browser” on this list, right click and uninstall.

If no luck, lets navigate to C:\ProgramFiles and look for a fast browser folder (may have a different name) and it may have an uninstaller located within the folder.

If these don’t work, we can install a 3rd party app that rips out applications great!

Potentially Unwanted App Found (Not)

Yesterday, I got a notification for a Potentially Unwanted App Found. I briefly went through the steps to find the app, but I got nowhere. Today, I received another notification so I took the time to research the entire paradigm for discovering the app. I opened Windows Security from the notification. I next went to App and Browser Control. However, there is no [Review] box under Reputation-based Protection. (All the settings in this section are set to Default). There must be something that is activating the notification, but nothing is showing up either on Microsoft or Malware Fighter. Any assistance would be appreciated as this is already becoming annoying. I am running Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1826).
