Windows 10: App calendar not launching

I just updated to windows 11, I tried clicking the date and time at the lower right corner of the desktop. However, it won't open the calendar, this works before on windows 10. How can I open calendar?

At this point, I suggest you to reinstall the Calendar App and check if the issue is resolved.

Follow the below steps to uninstall the Calendar App:

• 
  Press Windows key and type Powershell
  in search, right click on it and Open as administrator .
  
• 
  Type the following command in Powershell and hit enter:
  
  get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage

Option Two
Look for (To remove Calendar and Mail app from current account only) and use that command line on your Windows PowerShell.

After that, go to Windows Store and reinstall Mail and Calendar.

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
